We have all seen on Tv or carried on signs by protesters, words that tell us we have to stand up or make good choices, but how many of us do it? Both of them are good choices, one seems to be to make good choices concerning our schools and we certainly need to do that, don’t we? The other one is harder to know what the carrier means. I know I have difficulty getting up to stand, but I guess most of us 95ers do have trouble with that! but some signs really spell it out. It says “STAND UP FOR TRUTH,” and I agree heartilly with that. There is enough lying in our world? I wish we could throw all the lies out, don’t you?

Are you old enough to know an old Sunday School song we kids sang with gusto? probably not, I’m pretty old. It went like this: Stand up, stand up for Jesus, you soldiers of the cross; This day the noise of battle, the next, the devil’s loss. That’s all I remember. It seemed a pencil was good enough to use as guns as we sang and marched around the schoolroom. Maybe we should join all the protesters and carry a sign, reading “STAND UP, STAND UP FOR JESUS”. We all have that choice to make,don’t we? You have that choice, you know, Jesus is the first choice and the devil the second.That choice better be made soon too, because people are saying, we are in the last days of the world. My hope and prayer is that you would go along with Jesus. Just think! You would have the beautiful world as Heaven,and you would have God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to comfort, and love you.If you choose the other one you’ll get hell, a world of hate, darkness,and stink. It isn’t difficult to choose Jesus Be sure that you know God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are alive, ask for forgiveness of all your sins, and go to a pastor or friend who is a Christian. They will pray with you.Then you are a Christian! Won’t that be wonderful?

I don’t know why, but I want all of you to make that choice. It worries me to think some may not make it! I would come and talk with you and answer some of your questions, if I could. I’m not Mrs. know it all!

Do You really mean it when you say, “God is in control.” We hear that statement so often these days and I wonder sometimes if everyone believes it. God wants us to realize that He,and He alone will fix this hungry world, but He wants us to come along with Him. We wake up in the morning and see a sunny sky, and we might say, “Yup, God’s in control, that’s for sure.” But often, when we see a gloomy, foggy day, we complain about the things you wont be able to do today, all because of this weather! We have forgotten about God being in control.

Have you noticed the weather lately? It’s bad all over the world. In the east and partly in the south parts of America, there is more snow then they know what to do with all of it. The west gets lots of rain, wind, and fire. Then, there are the tornadoes and earthquakes, sadly, in the south. Do you still say, “God is in control!” There are places around the world that have had volcano erupting, earthquakes, and many other weather misfortunes, everywhere. We should say it loudly and clearly. Why? because He is still in control, that’s why. He is telling all of us to shape up. There has never been so much wickedness in the world as there is now. I think the trafficking of babies, little children and young girls is something that people who loved God would never think of doing. There is much more too. The schools are in a terrible mess, marriage and family are not considered good. People, especially young teenagers, are deciding to change their sexes.All people would need to do is really read Gods Word.You will find something about everything in the above story about America today, in our Bibles.

Yes, I believe God is scolding us for our forgetting He is in control, and our wickedness. Now, what should we do about it? Well, it’s almost easy to say. Begin with yourself! Begin every day saying, “God is in control”, study your Bible, pray and be friendly to everyone you meet. Would that change America? It certainly would if everyone would do it.

God Is In Control. The word of God tells us that God loves everyone, but it also tells us that He is a fierce God. Remember that!
