No one wants to miss this.

One time, several years ago, I watched a speech given by Mother Teresa, the mother which should be followed by every mother today. In it she said, “Give me your unborn children. Don’t abort  them. If you cannot raise them, I will. They are precious to God. She made it her gospel to feed everyone who needed food or shelter. She followed every word written in Matthew 25: 35-36 in your Bible.

But these words were also written for you and me. “I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.” These words were said by Jesus. No one wants to miss this, do they?

People, all across the world, and maybe in your neighborhood, need food and maybe some of them need shelter. Could you help? I thought I couldn’t. I will be 94 years old this month, I do not drive any more and my income is pretty low. But as I again read those words I thought: ” I am still alive so those words still apply to me.” I went to my computer and found there are several people who can use my money to feed those who are hungry, so I wrote a check to one of them. You can do the same. Just make sure they are a legitimate group. There are many trying to make money for themselves too.

I feel better. My money went to Jesus! Who would want to miss that?
