Yesterday I drove my scooter over to the park and I saw that God is at work with his paints. The trees are beginning to turn. I think it’s a bit early but with the early frosts I guess, it’s time. I will go over there often and watch the progression. I think you should do the same. My son takes me walking just about every day but we don’t see the colors as much because I can’t walk very far. That brings me to my son. He sees that I eat the right things, do the right exercises, get enough sleep and if I sit too long, he gets me up. The caring he gives didn’t show up when he was little though! He liked to take everything from televisions to his sister’s doll apart in order to see how things worked. Then He tried to put them together again! That didn’t work too well. I have gotten away from my subject but I like to brag about my son. He turned out to be a wonderful man.
God seems to have created something at each season just when we wanted a change. He is busy turning leaves all different colors just when we were tired of picnics and swimming. Soon the trees will drop their leaves on the ground to enrich the soil. Then He created winter and snow. Drivers didn’t like it much, but oh the kids and the kids at heart enjoyed it! Even the drivers had to admit that the snow was beautiful to look at. After we were tired of winter, we watched as buds were returning on the trees. flowers poked their heads into the wet and cold soil. Spring will soon arrive! Everything in nature looked washed somehow and we found out what the color of green looked like. Summer followed spring and outdoors we flew. God gave us the weather to enjoy camping, picnics, and more picnics, baseball, and all other things to wear us out. However, he brings us back to the color of the leaves and we will relax a bit.
Now, no matter how you believe, it’s rather hard to believe someone gives us those gifts, don’t you think? No person could do all that and yet each season comes the same way every year. Some of you may disagree with the truth that the earth goes around the sun and that’s how we get the four seasons, but I say “Who made the earth and the sun?”I believe God is a really great and wonderful God!
