Ella is my sister-in-law. She had a stroke several years ago and it has been hard for her five daughters and son. She has needed 24-hour care every day. Still, her mind was sharp. She knew everyone who visited her. She died peacefully a few days ago. I was physically unable to attend her funeral which saddened me.
I was watching “In The Heat Of The Night” eating my noon lunch when this happened. I had fallen asleep and just woke again. I couldn’t have slept very long because the show was still on. I looked up at my clock and it was 12:45 pm. I turned my head and there stood Ella! She had none of the disabilities she’d had all those years. In fact, she looked about thirty years old. Her hair was brown and it was fluffy around her face. She looked happy. Ella wore a black pair of pants and a speckled black and white sweater. I said only, “Ella?” She said nothing but she smiled at me and left! I don’t know how she left or where she went. She was just gone!
I was surprised that she came to me, but I am happy too. I believe God arranged it, and no one can talk me out of what happened. I think this should bring hope to all of us, that God is still on His throne, and is in control of ALL things. I also believe that somehow we needed to get together at that time and that place.
